Utility contractors are most of our phone calls, and for a reason: Lake Monroe Dewatering keeps trench work moving in ground where gravity sewer means digging eight to fifteen feet down through the Seminole County water table. Dry trench walls that hold a vertical cut, bedding stone that compacts to spec, laser shots that stay true because the box is not floating: that is what predrainage buys on a pipe job.
The setup follows the alignment. Wellpoints jet in along one or both sides of the trench line, a header ties them to the pump, and the system leapfrogs ahead of your crew in stages so the active dig is always in predrained ground. Old main replacements get extra attention, because the original trench bedding acts like a french drain that feeds water straight down the alignment into your new cut. We cut that flow off before the excavator finds it.
Every gallon pumped leaves through a settling tank and a discharge point covered by the FDEP generic permit notice, which matters double on public jobs where the inspector reads the permit before reading the plans. Municipal packages in Longwood, Deltona and across the county are core work for us.

Trench crew questions
How do you price a long trench run?
By the hundred feet. The first hundred feet of header runs $3,000 to $8,000 including mobilization, and each additional hundred feet runs $2,500 to $7,500 depending on depth, soil and spacing. Your linear footage times the table gets you a bid number today.
Can the dewatering leapfrog with my pipe crew?
Yes, and on long runs it should. We set the system in stages ahead of the crew, keep the active section dry, and pull points behind them. The pipe crew never waits on water, and you never pay to dewater six hundred feet you have not reached.
Why did my trench box float on the last job?
Buoyancy from digging below the water table without predrainage. A box in saturated sand takes uplift, walls slough behind it, and bedding will not compact. Wellpoints along the alignment ahead of the dig remove the buoyancy problem instead of fighting it.
Do you handle lift station pits or only linear runs?
Both. A lift station pit is usually a ring of wellpoints or a staged setup depending on depth, and around 15 feet it becomes a two stage job. Tie-in pits along a replacement alignment get sumped while the run stays on wellpoints.
